Decarbonfuse Achieved 20,000 Impressions and 2-3 Weekly Inbound Leads


Introduction:  Decarbonfuse.com is a leading resource on industrial decarbonization for investors, entrepreneurs, analysts, and engineers in climate and energy. 


They were about to launch their SaaS Product, ProjectDB, which delivers data insights on CCUS facilities in the US. 


They needed more visibility and clients for their niche market. Also, they needed help attracting and connecting with their ideal clients on Linkedin.


They needed help building a robust content strategy, inbound sales funnel, and predictable outbound lead generation channel to generate consistent leads. 


Once we started working together, we first started understanding our Ideal client persona and the communication style needed to target our ICP.  


Before Working Together: Challenges and Struggles at Decarbonfuse


No Content Strategy


Before: Decarbonfuse grappled with zero leads from Linkedin. 


Challenges: Inefficient targeting led to missed opportunities and a lack of personalized value-adding content to attract inbound leads. 


Impact: Slowed growth, no authority in the niche, reduced engagement with potential clients


Lack of Sales Funnel 


Before: No specific sales funnel was in place that targeted the prospect at every stage of the customer journey.

How we decided to work together


How: I pitched my services to Todd Bush, the Executive Director of Decarbonfuse. After a couple of discovery calls, we started working together in November 2022 (we are still working together). Within the first two weeks, Todd's LinkedIn profile was optimized, and we got 20000 impressions and started receiving inbound clients.  


Why: Deep research on ICP, creating content based on their pain points, and value-adding content to build authority and engagement with teh ICP. 


Impact: Fast track the growth and more visibility to launch ProjectDB. 


Implementation Process: I worked with Todd to create consistent content; we started experimenting with content types and formats and collecting data on how the audience perceives it. We also started tracking data on which content piece led to conversation, engagement, impressions, and increased followers. 



Outcome: We generated two to five inbound leads every week. 


Impact: Streamline marketing efforts and immediately connect with prospects, increased sales.
